Run/Walk & Bike
A 5k Run/Walk gets the day started at 9:00 a.m., with a 26k bike ride to follow at 10:30am. Day-of registration for both events begins at 8. The entrance fee for a single event is $20. $40 to participate in both. Questions about the Run/Walk can be directed to Cristin Lagerman at cristinleigh@gmail.com. Live Music and Entertainment
From 11 to 7, the 4PeteSake stage will be rockin’, rollin’, strummin’ and grooving’ with some of the area’s finest bands, including Bad Medicine featuring 4PeteSake namesake Peter Greenwood. Make sure to stick around for a swingin’ finale courtesy of the Solstice Jazz Band. The lineup (subject to change):

Food and Beverages
Come for lunch; stay for dinner. Food and Beverages will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Food will be served by the Spring Green Lions, with a menu that includes hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, black bean burgers, pork and chicken sandwiches, plus chips, popcorn and slushies. Beer, wine, soda and water will also be available, including beers on tap from local breweries Furthermore, Lake Louie and Vintage. And satisfy your sweet tooth with a brownie sundae, featuring home-baked brownies, Culver’s custard and, of course, all the whipped cream and sprinkles you can handle.
Raffle
The grand prize for this year’s 4PeteSake raffle is large-screen tv. Other prizes include: dinner for six at Freddy Valentine’s and 6 tickets to APT; a $500 Prem Meats Gift Card; a $500 VISA Gift Card provided by Peoples Community Bank; and a 30lb bundle from Straka Meats. Raffle tickets are available from 4PeteSake committee members and at many area businesses. They will also be available for purchase day-of at the Day in the Park. Raffle tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. The raffle drawing will take place at 5:30 p.m.
Silent Auction, Live Auction
The silent auction offers nearly 200 unique items, including contributions from local merchants and service providers and artwork by local artists. Special items include a one-week house rental in Galveston, TX. The auction is open for viewing at 11:00 am, with tables closing at 5:00 p.m. A Buy It Now area allows shoppers to buy items on the spot and avoid the bidding wars.
Kid’s Activities
Kids will stay busy at the Day in the Park with a jumpy castle, craft activities, face painting and games. Kids can have unlimited access to all the Kid’s Area has to offer with the purchase of a $5.00 wrist band. The Kid’s Area is open Noon – 5:00 p.m. And don’t miss the photo booth! Open 12noon to 6pm, featuring bundles of great outfits and accessories from the APT costume shop.
Cake Walk
The popular Cake Walk returns once again this year. Pay $1.00 for a chance to play. Walk the cake walk until the music stops and if you land on the lucky number, you may choose a delicious cake or other delectable dessert.
T-Shirts
This year’s edition of the 4PeteSake T-shirt is now available. To get yours, find the 4PeteSake table at The Shed’s Local Night on August 18th. A limited number of shirts will also be available at the Day in the Park, priced between $15 and $25. Vintage T’s from previous years will be also available at deeply discounted prices.
